I’m Kaelin Parker Joy, but you can call me KPJ—a nickname my grandpa gave me and the signature I proudly sign on every one of my paintings. Life of KPJ is my creative sanctuary—where art, storytelling, and purpose come together to spark hope and healing.
I’m an author, children’s book author, a public speaking award-winner, and the heart behind the I Pick Me Movement—a space for those who have battled self-harm to learn how to choose themselves over their disorder. Having walked that road myself, I’ve discovered groundbreaking ways to understand triggers, reconnect with the body, and heal through creativity, faith, and self-compassion. Now, I’m on a mission to share those tools with others—because no one should have to face their pain alone.
